We were so glad to find them open during the recent political slowdown.Then, they gladly opened up the kitchen and served the most amazing delicious fish dinners at a great price. We loved all of it. The kayaks are available and lots of fun. The beach is right out the door and the waves were just right for playing. The rustic side of the hotel had these great hammock chairs that I never wanted to leave, until dinner that is. The newer, modern side, was elegant and poolside. Marco, the manager, was gracious and helpful, and Lorena the housekeeper/cook had a great smile and lots of skill in the kitchen. We would go back in a minute.

It was close enough to San Juan del Sur and other surfing beaches to go out for fun and have this sweet beach to come back to. Thanks so much.

We stayed here for 2 nights - and were looking for a quiet place to get some work done. The place is off the beaten path. Our taxi driver had a hard time finding it- the road is unpacked although there are signs intermittently placed from turn off main road. The beach is not very crowded as there are not too many places to stay in the area and the beach would be hard to access. The reception and staff were super accommodating. We stayed in a beach front room and actually did not anticipate how loud the sound of the ocean would be. The food at the restaurant was great- as was the breakfast that was included. The rooms , pool and restaurant are all connected via the beach.
