I just checked in to the hotel this evening. Having to stay at G Gurney from all of my business travel, this has been the first time staying somewhere far from the city. My first impression was, the lobby is big and looks environment friendly.
The front desk service was very pleasant. Miss Zaira, the customer service at the check in counter was extremely patient, friendly and helpful. She had tried her very best to fulfill the customer needs. She had provided her best knowledge and hints on the potential noise from the pool area if my room is pool facing, also, making sure that I am comfortable otherwise just simply come back to the front desk and they can make other arrange to avoid the noise.
I stay in the premier room from the main building(7th floor) and it is pool facing, it is now 10:30pm and, yes, I can hear the music from pool side, but does not really bother me much. Though the bathroom looks clean and had done some re-modeling, the room does has some old, dusty smell. The other thing I like about the room is it has the balcony that guest can just open the door and walk out to see the beautiful scenery. I have yet to explore other areas in this hotel, therefore, no other comment as to how the breakfast and pool service and etc. looks like.
Based on just a few hours of the experience, In summary, to my opinion, the front desk service was awesome, the room was a little smaller as compared to what I thought it would be and a little dusty smell, but overall is satisfactory.
