We had high hopes when we came here to Xcaret for our honeymoon. The Resort is wonderful and the service and the people are just great. Except some of the Concierge who tried to sell us their VIP package which is no really benefit. And one of them tried it everytime she saw us, so it became really annoying.
What’s more is, that our travel agency booked it with the remark „honeymoon“ and we still got two single beds. Although I even mentioned it at the check-in. One of them beds were so bad that my wife had back pain until we changed beds mid week and now we both share the back pain.
If you do your honeymoon here and travel 10 hours from germany and pay a lot of money you expect at least some romantic preparation of the room. Instead you get two single beds.

We could have the best time here, but be didn’t.

This was our second time staying at xcaret, and we will keep coming back as long as Rolando and Kiyoshi are there!! Not only is the resort beautiful, the amenities spectacular, the food delicious... what sets this resort apart are people like Rolando and Kiyoshi. Not only do they take care of EVERYTHING we need, they go out of their way to be sure that they anticipate our needs, and even go the extra mile to ensure the group we traveled with had an amazing visit. We will be back in April, and will definitely request Rolando as our Butler and I can’t wait!!! If you want to travel to one of the most beautiful places on earth and receive the BEST service while there...Xcaret is your destination and Rolando and Kiyoshi are you guys!!!
