If you’re craving margaritas, quesadillas and the like, take the Alta shuttle down the hill to the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird. This is the only Mexican restaurant for miles around and it’s a comfortable, affordable place for families. If the kids don’t like tacos, there are hamburgers on the menu. Plus, there’s a game room just across the hallway from the restaurant, allowing adults a little time to enjoy the full bar at El Chanate — one of the very few places on the mountain with a full liquor license.
