Overview

The Holiday Inn Express at Windsor is a simple, contemporary three-star chain hotel with free Wi-Fi and a full English or continental breakfast included in nightly rates. It’s located in a suburban area of Windsor, but being the size the town is, it’s still within a mile of Windsor Castle. It’s also a 10-minute drive from LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and only 15 minutes to Heathrow in a car.

The hotel provides a great base for those not requiring total luxury on their trip to Windsor, but it’s much more comfortable than a really budget hotel. There are 58 rooms in total and the family rooms have sofa beds for youngsters. Any children under the age of 19 traveling with parents stay for free if they’re sharing the same room, and there are connecting rooms available for larger families or those with teenagers who want more privacy. The Holiday Inn Express has wheelchair access and three accessible rooms.

Lego land and Windsor Castle

Not bad at all!the beds are a bit uncomfortable that’s my only complaint!this is a decent budget price hotel in Windsor not far from the castle the staff are great and the breakfast was ok I would recommend staying here for a night or two

Good location

This is a budget room, if you don’t expect much you won’t be disappointed. Parking is £13 per night, the room we had was a double bed with a cheap mattress that caused back pains in the early hours of the morning. Breakfast was included which other posts say we’re good however, I was disappointed with the quality...microwaved scrambled eggs. SERIOUSLY! My backpacking days are over but this is what I would expect back then from a budget hotel. For the cost I would shop around more. On the up side, the staff were accomodating and the location is an easy walk into the town for attractions, restaurants and the castle.
