The Phranakorn Nornlen hotel is a budget boutique hotel near the Thewet Pier river shuttle stop. The decor is kitsch and quirky, and the 31 rooms have antiques, artworks and multi-colored soft furnishings. The hotel garden is a little oasis and the motto of the establishment is ‘slow life’ so there are lots of places to relax with low colorful cushions. The roof terrace has a view of Bangkok’s tallest golden Buddha.
Children are welcome at the hotel and the family rooms are spacious. There is a restaurant onsite serving a mixture of Thai and western food. Breakfast is included in the stay. The Phranakorn Nornlen staff arrange a variety of activities for guests, such as cooking lessons, cosmetic making and fun entertainment.
