We visited W as ‘day’ visitors - hiring a pool bed for the day. Luckily we arrived early as the beds were filled quickly. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive- we always had a bucket of ice for our drinks and as the ice melted in the glasses - they were quick to change.
There is a minimum spend of IDR750,000 per bed but between two of us with food & drinks - this is easily achievable!
The food and drinks menu was great.
Only complaint is the Shisha Pipes, capers and smokers - as a non smoker we found it disgusting to have to inhale the smoke. There should be a total ban on smoking OR there should be an allocated area away from everyone else.

I travel a lot and see easily 50 hotels a year (SPG Platinum for Life since a while) so I know hotels and know what I can expect. The W Bali went far beyond what I can expect from a hotel. The service and the guest orientation of the staff is amazing (Thai level and up). Just the little things like entertaining our 16 month old daughter during dinner (without being asked to), coming back without us asking an extra time to clean the villa since Zana made a mess (again).

The insiders Tasya and Ho did everything possible to make our stay an amazing and unforgettable experience.

I can only recommend this place: both as a hotel to party till late at the Woo Bar, or having an amazing time with your kids.
