We decided we needed to just get away and chill and booked Fernleigh Resort based on the advice of a friend. We reserved for three days and while it was late in the season(read ... just as they were closing down) the owners made us feel like we were repeat clients. The cabin was huge for the two of us and our dog and we were the only visitors on the entire resort. We both feel that that we would go back in a heartbeat. Would have loved to experience what many have said are amazing meals in the lodge but that will be for our next visit. Our cabin had everything we needed as well as a very comfortable bed complete with wool blankets. The view across the lake from our front sitting area was spectacular.

What a beautiful spot!! The view from our lodge was breathtaking! We could see the lake through the trees which are so colourful this time of the year! We hear the lake is great for fishing. We also enjoyed the walks around the resort. The lodge itself was spotless and fully equipped! It was very cozy and tastefully decorated! The resort has so much more to offer. We also had a pleasure to meet the host who was very friendly and attentive. We would consider going back for sure!!
