Cozy, friendly hotel in a perfect location

Very friendly staff. Allowed early check in. Rooms were beautiful. Be aware, no AC and age of building mean the best rooms are upstairs so that you can leave balcony door open to cool room. Also, much better to not hear people walking above. Overall great stay and would definitely recommend!

A perfect place to call home when visiting Carmel.

From the front desk/reception, to the staff delivering your breakfast, to the simple help of providing us with an ice bucket for our wine in our room ... it was a magical place.
Easy walking distance to the 'main drag' and all the shops, restaurants, galleries, and an over abundance of wine-tasting rooms.
The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. VERY clean and well kept. We had a fireplace and a 'spa' tub along with a balcony.
There are fresh baked cookies when you arrive in the afternoon and plenty of 'fruit' water, coffee, tea and pastries all day long.
Parking can be a little tight, especially if they're full of guests.
