The Hideway is a cozy, 24-room boutique hotel that’s only a short walk away from the beach and downtown Carmel. Recently redesigned and refurbished in 2016, the hotel offers a complimentary European-style breakfast and an evening wine hour. Guestrooms are available with a fireplace or reading alcove, and certain rooms can sleep up to four people. All guestrooms have a LCD flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms feature a beautifully tiled, walk-in shower and have luxurious robes for your enjoyment. The Hideaway staff takes pleasure in sharing the local side of Carmel and can recommend the best local eateries and shopping.

Lovely Little Gem

This hotel is a spectacular hidden little gym Carmel-by-the-sea. Don’t be fooled by the small exterior, the rooms are extremely classy and well appointed. It’s situated right next to all the shopping that is immediately downtown, including upscale art shops, artisanal food and craft shops, and all the best dining. The staff was friendly and the courtyard offered a wine and bubbly hour that had homemade snacks and cookies.

We lived in Carmel for 6 months and we admired the exterior, would love to stay there. They have paid extra attention to detail and are highly regarded by locals. They have created a romantic experiences. And provide close proximity to the town and to Carmel beach.&
