Overview

Many of Siesta Key’s beach accommodations consist of vacation home and condo rentals. Some require a week’s stay, but Sarasota Surf & Racquet has only a three-night minimum. For the active, on-the-go family who would rather cook in than eat out every meal, this is perfect. One- and two-bedroom condos occupy six towers and are owner-furnished in tropical style with full kitchens and enclosed porches.

Besides the big, wide open front-yard beach, the complex has two pools, four tennis courts, a fitness center, beach rentals, a pavilion with grills, laundry facilities, covered parking and a security gate. Housekeeping service is not included.

Loved it!!

My sister and I were in Sarasota for a wedding and we chose Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club for our 5 night stay. We loved it!! The private beach was very well maintained with plenty of chairs. Getting around was a breeze. Very close to restaurants and shopping. The condo was very nice and comfortable. Felt like home. Would recommend this property for anyone. We would definitely choose to come back to SS&RC.

Great first time experience!

We'd never been to Siesta Key before and after a ton of research we decided because of it's location, we would stay at the Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club. The complex is well taken care and beautiful. The crew there does an amazing job. They have two pools, one larger, one smaller. We never visited the smaller pool, but spent many hours at the larger one. It's pretty great. This complex is literally steps from the beach with chairs, chaise loungers and tents available to the guests. Chairs and loungers are free, tents have a cost. The complex is about a 10 minute drive to the very cool Siesta Village in one direction, and the mainland in the other. Buildings at the complex are designated with a letter then condo number, like Y101 where we stayed.

I would have to say that my only negative, which isn't really that bad, is the parking. It's all covered which is nice. You may get lucky and be able to part close to your condo, but most times you won't. They say that each condo can have two cars, but I think people abuse that even with having to get a parking permit.

Do your homework when looking at condos here. Ask tons of questions. Look at the reviews as well. There were things in our unit that not talked about.

Needless to say, I feel in love with Siesta Key. We've already talked about returning.
