Credit where credit is due - everything about this resort is near perfect. And I am very picky.
Whilst Seminyak itself isn't anything to write home about - the Oberoi is a piece of heaven. Beautifully kept - everywhere - just wonderful.
Every member of staff I came into contact with was incredibly friendly, helpful and discreet. Pool and restaurant staff were impeccable while cleaning staff were very clever in working out when we were out of the room - so they didn't disturb us.
Our room was basic but had everything you could want - brilliantly quiet, w made the mistake of looking at a beachfront villa - which was to die for - and we would certainly have one when we return,
The food was exceptional - breakfast a grand affair cooked to order with a wide range of food - overlooking the ocean. Dinner in the Michelin star restaurant was as you would expect. Heavenly. My only very small gripe is that wine by the glass is quite limited,
By the pool, staff would top up water, bring fruit and jellies regularly, clean your sun glasses and have an al out impossible instinct for when you needed your sun umbrella moved ! Fabulous.
Definitely 5 star plus and definitely a returner.
