This remodeled 1870 home is located just outside of Boston and just minutes from Tufts University. A very family-friendly B&B, the guestrooms offer plenty of bed space for the whole family. The Morrison and Davis room both offer a queen and a single bed for families of three. Larger families will enjoy the Warren-Sparrow room which feature a king bed and two twin Murphy beds. Both rooms feature on-suite bathrooms, large televisions, DVD players, refrigerators, and air conditioning. Free use of laundry facilities and an included breakfast are great for family comfort. The friendly family cat, Sebastian, will delight children as he roams around the B&B.

Well maintained; charming; had a comfortable bed; good breakfast; good location for my purposes. Subway line and many good restaurants a few blocks away in Davis Square. I stayed in the Little Room, which was perfect for one person. Shared breakfast with couples and families, several from Europe. Great experience overall. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I have been fortunate to have visited dozens of b and bs through the years. We prefer them over hotels to experience local hospitality. We like the feeling of being greeted like long lost family. Unfortunately, this was not our experience at Morrison House. We felt as if we were more an unwanted solicitor when the host came to the door. He did not introduce himself but instead commented on how we didn't park properly in the driveway. His second statement was to ask how were we going to pay for our stay. There was little communication after that for the 4 nights we stayed there. He did give a brusque tutorial on how to use the french press for the coffee. Frankly, it would be nice for the hosts to prepare the coffee. While we are on the subject of breakfast, I must disagree with prior reviews as to its quality. For all 4 days, it consisted of hard boiled eggs and dry cereal. The muffins were good as was the fruit. At best, I would describe it as spartan. The table would be set up 8 am and the host would stop in briefly to ask if everything was ok. Lest I only focus on the negatives, I concur with the prior reviews that the location was good as was the shower. A large in room refrigerator was also a plus. Unfortunately, this did not outweigh the negatives for us.
