The Guava Grill is a must if you’re looking for wonderfully prepared food with a personal touch on service and hospitality.
The menu selection has something for everyone to enjoy in both a tranquil a tropical setting.
Don’t cheat yourself by going to Roatan without trying this gem in Sandy Bay.

Can’t say enough good things about Guava Grove. Quiet, beautiful, cozy, with amazing staff.
In Sandy Bay away from the commercialized West End, but only a few minutes’ drive if you want to visit West End. The resort is small with only a handful of units: we stayed in the big family unit on top floor of big building. We felt like we were in our own little resort oasis. Cheryl and her staff give you five star service, and make you feel like you have your own private concierge. She met us at the airport (expense less than local cab) and immediately made us feel welcome. Accommodations were wonderful, food was consistently amazing, and daiquiris were exceptional. If you prefer American style breakfast, they will accommodate that, if you prefer European style, they will do that – you just have to let them know. Novia did much of the cooking, and her food was wonderful – some with local flair, some catered to our American taste. Cheryl was also a wonderful cook. Much of the cuisine was made from food from their own garden. The lobster bites were a particularly good appetizer, but all the food was delicious.
Views from the rooms were amazing. Landscaping beautiful, like a botanical garden, she has labeled many plants. Beautiful views of the stars at night – we even saw the milky way running through the tail of Scorpio.
There were plenty of opportunities to do tons of activities. We chose snorkeling for most days. There was beautiful snorkeling in Sandy Bay, a few minutes walk from Guava Grove. We also snorkeled in West Bay and near Caribe Point. Alex, who was great, was our driver/tour guide/snorkeling guide most days (also a great bartender). Cheryl was also helpful in letting us know where not to go, to avoid either over-commercialized sections or places were locals aggressively hawked their goods. We did shop, eat out and toured the island – Cheryl and Alex coordinated all of it and made sure our experience was memorable from start to finish.
Thank you Cheryl, Alex and Novia. We highly recommend Guava Grove, and will definitely stay there when we visit Roatan again.
