We extremely enjoyed the Damai - starting from the welcome tea and massage, the excellent food and special settings to the great staff - very friendly and helpful. It was my birthday during our stay and staff surprised me with a surprise dessert and song.

Only downturn was the dolphin spotting by boat - here you race along a bustle of other boats on a full highway. Not nice for the dolphins and the visitors. I do not think that the hotel should offer such tours.

Excellent Resort

If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream Bali then The Damai in Lovina is a very good choice. The hotel is in a rural setting 5 to 10 mins from the town which makes the stay very peaceful and relaxing. Villas are spacious and well appointed with quirky features such as outdoor showers etc. Food is very good and breakfast options quite varied. Loved the freshly cut fruit delivered to your table each morning.The spa is also excellent with a variety of treatments, some of which I had not seen before. Therapists were very professional. All staff were super friendly and engaging. If you are travelling to this part of Bali this resort is highly recommended.
