Families will love the large suites in this hotel. After a free breakfast and some time at the indoor pool, the family can head the one mile over to the Black Warrior River to rent a canoe, kayak, or tube. Families with young children will want to visit the Children’s Hands-On Museum. Head over to Lake Lurleen State Park to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and swimming on the beach. At the end of the day, adventurous families with children over eight can go on a Haunted Tuscaloosa Tour to sight-see haunted locations around the city. The large guestrooms for families have two queen beds and a sofa bed. They can accommodate up to six guests.

First time with this chain as there were few rooms available in T-Town due to it being a game weekend. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Hotel shows a little age but no real complaints. Room was quiet considering how close to Interstate.

The staff and management were very nice and helped carry our bags upstairs since the elevator was out of order.
Breakfast was good and fresh.
Room was clean but had a strong mildew odor. Mildew covered the outside of windows. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable.
Pool bottom felt slimy.
