Residence Inn is what you would expect from any Marriott property. Quality, cleanliness, well appointed, and consistency. As this is a pet friendly property, the quality of how the rooms, beds, carpets and similar are deserving of even higher praise. You would never know they allowed dogs. No dog smells, noise or similar unpleasantness associated with pets. Just a great place to stay. Worth every dime spent. Beds & pillows are super comfortable, fresh and spotless. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh fruits, beverages, eggs, and similar morning offerings. Better than most hotels that offer breakfast. Staff was great and super professional while being personable and welcoming. The only "oddity" is the location, which a bit industrial (e.g, car dealers, etc) compared to the usual Residence Inn locations elsewhere in the country. HOWEVER, I must also note that all their competitors in this price range (e.g. Hampton, Fairfield, Courtyard, Homewood Suites, etc) were also located in the same area. Apparently, given the location of business/government related areas in Mobile, this must be a prime location for business and professional people. But I would not let that deter anyone from staying at this Residence Inn. A wonderful experience and I would return again at any time!!
