The Bake Shoppe serves sausage-and-cheese-type breakfast sandwiches, cupcakes, cookies, pastries and gorgeous desserts, seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closing at 3 p.m. on Sunday) on the very popular Rehoboth Avenue. My husband may very well have visited the Bake Shoppe on the wrong day, but my overall take on the several pastries we tried: Very dry and not worth the calories.
