We stayed here en route to the beach. It is obviously a popular spot because we heard so many people coming in the front door to ask for a room. The room was clean and spacious, but the walls are thin.

IHG rejected my review. Which is ridiculous. But this is the review I intended to post to the hotel’s website.
Upon check in, I was given a key to a room that the lady at the front desk saw was available on her piece of paper. I, a female guest, walked up to the room and opened the door to find that the room was occupied and there was a naked man to greet me. I quickly closed the door and ran down stairs to the front desk. When I told her what happened SHE AHD NO IDEA THERE WAS SOMEONE IN THE ROOM AND HAD NO IDEA WHO THEY WERE. And that was the last room of the type of room we reserved on the IHG Website. So we were put into another room, but the people who weren’t supposed to be in the room got to stay. I’ve spoken with guest relations multiple times and have been told the hotel manager was going to call me. Didn’t call Monday when I was still checked in. In fact, I called guest relations and they spoke to someone at the hotel who says the manager isn’t in. Come to find out, THAT WAS THE MANAGER. Manager never called Tuesday after I checked out. And it’s now it’s Friday and I still haven’t been called by the manager. IHG Guest Relations didn’t seem to grasp the severity of the issue and had offered to send me a check THAT I HAVE NO GUARANTEE OR CONFIRMATION OF for only $52.xx. Based on the issues, I wanted a refund for the first night that would have been $88.xx but NO ONE I’VE SPOKEN TO IS WILLING TO DO THAT. AND THE MANAGER FOR THEE HOTEL PROPERTY IS REFUSING TO RETURN MY PHONE CALLS. TERRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH HOTEL COMPANY’S GUEST RELATIONS (other hotel companies have guest relations departments that will do anything to make you, the customer, satisfied with your stay).
