You’re about a mile (20 minutes walking time) from downtown Isla Mujeres when you stay at this friendly hotel popular with scuba divers thanks to the onsite dive shop. And if you’re thinking about getting the kids certified, this is the place.
Accommodations include 20 rooms and four junior suites, all with balconies or patios, and the latter of which is outfitted with a full-size refrigerator, stove, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster. Suites also have a separate sleeping area with a futon that can sleep two kids. Onsite amenities include an infinity pool, bar and a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach is right across the street.

This is actually called iguanas now but is where Barlito’s used to be. My husband and I are staying here at Marina Paraiso and have had a lovely stay. The breakfast is great and we have tried the pizza for lunch which is also good. Pool is amazing and so are the views. All of the staff here are kind and helpful. It is a very peaceful place to stay. The view of the marina is wonderful. I highly recommend staying here, great value.....bring your bug spray and have some nice relaxing down time!

Showed up here with my sailboat 46 foot beneteau once I was tied up I came face-to-face with the owner witch is absolutely rude.He then went on to ask me if we had rented a room and that if not I would need to leave...the fact that we were ready to spend money at his restaurant and paid for a dock for overnight didn't seem enough for him. I don't recommend this place don't want to encourage this type of behavior from an owner!
