Situated near the Balham Railway and Underground Stations and just a few miles away from the Battersea Arts Centre, the hotel offers its guests access to the entire city. There is no dining onsite, but the hotel does offer a breakfast box for an additional fee.

Small room, big price

This location is about 30 minutes from dead central London, yet the prices in fall/winter are pretty expensive, with some nights at US $200 plus. It's a very tight room; all rooms are the same size, yet they offer a Super Room which is minimally better than standard room. The soap is a low quality; the towels were large and decent. They will not clean your room if you don't pay an additional 3 pounds daily - which is outrageous and absurd for a hotel.

This hotel is situated right next to both underground and main line stations which is a good and not so good thing. If you have a room overlooking the train station you may find the train noise disturbing. However it did not bother me. It is a very clean and well maintained hotel and good value for money. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.
