Just across the street from Lucy the Elephant, The Greenhouse opened its doors in Margate City originally as a speakeasy in 1932. In the 1950s, it become a popular beer garden for its patio facing the ocean, and continues to thrive today as a bar and grill, despite three hurricanes attempting to destroy the building. Lunch is served daily on the outside deck, and the ocean view dining room is open for dinner.
