Traveling with children is never easy, especially when traveling to foreign countries. The Amra Palace and Spa goes out of their way to make sure families have everything they need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Spacious guestrooms accommodate four guests, and interconnecting rooms are available so that larger families can stay together. Each room at the hotel features comfortable furniture and a private bathroom with an outdoor soaker tub. An expert chef prepared homestyle meals daily, and guests have access to several other restaurants on the island. A white sand beach is a short walk from the hotel.

Beautiful and serene ...can't wait to go back!

We stayed here back in December and had the best time. The hotel and grounds are just amazing. The rooms are large, and the bathrooms are spectacular! The grounds are beautiful - very peaceful and calm, with a lovely (large!) pool.

We frequently took the bikes to ride the short distance (a few minutes by bike) to the beach. The sea is not full of coral unlike other parts of the Maldives (which my feet appreciated) and the sand is nice and fine. We also went for a few dives, which the manager arranged for us.

I can't really fault the stay other than to say I wish we had stayed longer, and I can't wait to come back.

Loved our trip to Amra! The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were delightful. The food was yummy. The grounds are stunning. The new pool is massive. The beach which was 10 minutes away had the softest sand and largest lagoon I’ve seen in Maldives. There’s lots to do on Gan Island - bikes, sea sports, diving, site seeing. I would recommend Amra wholeheartedly and with no reservation!
