Reviews

A fantastic hotel!

by TravellerUK12

We really enjoyed our stay in this fantastic hotel. The room was extremely clean and tidy, and the breakfast was very pleasant with lots of good food, coffee and tea available. The staff were very friendly and helpful - even having a ‘breakfast to go’ ready for us when we had to leave before 6am for a trek. Would highly recommend staying here!

Mountain Biking and Hiking Base

by stanleynoel

I stayed here for 12 nights from middle of October to the end of month. Home base for a mountain biking trip.

Let’s start by saying, great experience at this Casa (boutique hotel)!

Pros first... amazing location, about 1km from the centre of town, far enough away to be “as quiet as possible” for Haurez. The owners and staff are all lovely and genuine people who care about your experience and care about people. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Fresh clean linens and very clean rooms. The cleaning staff are pros and the owners have made that a priority. Nice common areas, lots of art and maps to give you some local vibes.

Quasi Cons... 1) fireworks are a nightly event in Haurez, it’s a problem with the town, not the Casa. But still a con. 2) breakfasts are included, they could vary or be a bit different from day to day, more local fruit and options would be great. 3) internet needs to be better, even if the owners could provide a paid option (in addition to the free option) for power users who need reliable internet options.

disclaimer... if your looking for Four Seasons comfort, then your unrealistic for choosing a remote Andean Town as a holiday destination.
