We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and liked it a lot. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Staff at reception spoke some english and were able to deal efficiently with our requests. On a clear day the views to the mountains from the restaurant and the roof were stunning. We did, however, find our bedroom a bit cold and needed to use the extra blankets. The hotel has a lift. The hotel is out of the centre and we took taxis into and out of town, cost 3 soles or approx 1 dollar US. Because of major earthquake damage Huaraz has been almost entirely rebuilt and is not attractive, but there is an interesting museum, good shops and some nice restaurants.

May be one of the best in town, but it is not enough. Breakfast, quality of the restaurant, WiFi, english talking personel, lightning in rooms and communal areas all need attention. Personel though very friendly and willing to help.
