The Plaza Mayor Hotel is located minutes away from some of Puno’s most iconic cultural attractions including the town’s cathedral and the Main Square Plaza de Armas. The hotel’s tour desk can arrange excursions to the floating reed islands of Lake Titicaca, the Chucuito ruins and the Carlos Dreyer Museum. Guestsrooms can accommodate three adults, with extra cots available for young travelers. Interconnecting rooms are also available for large groups. Every room comes complete with a microwave, refrigerator, flat screen televisions, heating, private bathroom and seating area. Well located; friendly staff

We stayed at the Plaza Mayor hotel for three nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped us book a tour to Sillustani, which was a great addition to our itinerary, and they can also book tours to Taquille and Uros islands, which are not to be missed. The hotel is located right in the center of town, so it's an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are nothing special, but totally adequate. I would avoid their over-priced laundry service; you're better off doing laundry in Cusco.

Excellent location snd great price

We booked through Airbnb and had a great experience. Beds we're super comfy, rooms clean with everything you need. Breakfast included. Just 1/2 block from the main plaza and shopping street. Very convenient. Friendly staff.
