It is probably two years since we last went to Al Qasr Brunch. Since we were here last time the staff have been replaced with new inexperienced waiters. The gentleman we had serving our table of eight had a serious attitude problem. He managed to spill water and then wine on the table with no intention of cleaning it up. Used plates were left on the table for over thirty minutes until we cleared our own and put them on an adjoining table that was vacant.
All the hot food stations had cold plates so as soon as the lukewarm food was placed on it it became inedible. I walked from one end of the restaurant to the other to find the particular dish i was looking for and when i arrived there the food was so cold i could not eat it.
I complained to two head waiters who were standing next to the main staircase to no avail. I stated that at one time Al Qasr was the best Brunch in town and was something to look forward to.
The prices are one of the highest in Dubai therefore you would expect one of the highest quality Brunches, unfortunately the standard was poor and there are many other places in Dubai that are less expensive and have better food and service.
