This is a good hotel in a good location because it is close to Ueno Station. If you want to go to Narita, the train is only a 10 minute walk away. Also, Ueno station is about 5 minutes away and the subway is a quick 2 minute to walk.
Check is was easy. They offer free coffee at reception which you take to your room for the coffee pot. The room itself was basic but clean. It had a small 19 inch LCD TV. There was a queen sized bed where one edge was against the wall. So if there were 2 people in the room, the person next to the wall may have some difficulty getting out.
The bathroom was small. If you ever been on a cruise ship, the bathroom is very similar if not smaller than a cruise ship.
I liked it because of the price and location. I was travelling alone and only staying one night. If I had a longer stay, I may have chosen someplace else. But if you don't plan on spending any time in the room and only using it for sleep for 1 or 2 nights, this would be a fine choice.
