Our room at the Crowne Plaza was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I would not consider walking on the carpet without shoes because it was so stained, grubby and dirty. Every surface had dust or showed visible careless swipes with a dirty cleaning rag, The bathroom drain was very slow, there were only 2 towels-no hand towels or face cloths, and one plastic glass in the bathroom that was not in a wrapper.
The first morning, someone called asking if we liked our room. I replied, “it’s just okay-it’s not great.” I did not want to be rude. Later, my partner called the front desk to say how dirty the room was. Their response was that it would be thoroughly cleaned while we were out. We were relieved and appreciated the promise that it would be cleaned. .
But upon our return, it was the same. Not one bit better.
The check. A handyman explained more than the young woman who checked us in. Although the next day, when we asked questions about taxis and shuttles, the front desk staff were helpful. The checkin was haphazard at best with no explanation of services.
There was a complimentary breakfast but we were not told about it.
All in all, It was not a good experience. I am sorry but I would not recommend this hotel.
