Outstanding service , beautiful beach

My first review ever on social media...
What an amazing place. The most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen, a fabulous empty beach and outstanding staff. The Rum Shed is my new favourite restaurant..wonderful steak and excellent cocktails.

On our recent Mauritius trip we booked one night at this place as it was close to the airport and offered early check-in (at extra charge)... and as the Lux Le Morne was booked out already for that day so we needed an alternative.

Apartment was large but somewhat lacking in comfort, e g., a couch would have been nice instead of two uncomfy chairs. Staff seemed eager but a bit disorganised. Overall we got the impression that people were trying to convey a 5 star experience but knew they couldn't quite deliver.

There are certainly worse hotels out there but I would not rush to stay at this one again.
