We stayed here with friends for 15 days from 7th October 19. The welcome at the airport was excellent , we were given wet face towels and a bottle of water each . We also had private taxi transfers to the hotel , the driver was very informative with a good description of the islands history ???? The transfer time is just over an hour to Belle Mare . The reception staff were OK , some not very helpful, others not!Please be aware that there are NO lifts at this hotel so you will need to be quite fit and steady on your feet to get up the stairs ! The food was fair , could always put a meal together , themed food every nigh , it's a bonus if you like curry and rice ! You have to ask for bacon ! All of the restaurant staff were first class very kind and helpful, can't remember the ladies name , she is by the toaster very helpful every day ! Ben a head waiter was really great ! Have a go at samosa making great fun ! Try some street food in Port Louie market , lovely . Only disappointment of this holiday was British Airways , they changed the aircraft for a smaller one , I was sat 7 rows behind my husband on a 12 hour flight !
