Located in the central portion of La Digue Island, Chateau St. Cloud is a good option for families wanting to stay in informal, yet stylish surroundings while remaining within driving distance to the beach. Some of the Standard and Deluxe rooms can accommodate up to four people. Cribs and extra beds are also available upon request. Kids will love the giant tortoise enclosure and the outdoor swimming pool. Families can dine at the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The personal was never avalible and not very happy. The bathroom was full of ants and spiders. It also smelled really bad. The pool was also really dirty and full of insects.. we had breakfast inkluded, but we didn’t dare to eat anything there. We tried to be at the hotel as litle as posible. Only for sleeping. You do not get any waterbottels there, so you have to buy them before you go there. Worst hotelexpirens we had in a really long time..

La Digue is a very small island and there are very limited good properties and Chateau St. Cloud is one of them. I have given 5 star rating to this hotel only because La Digue does not have much properties. This hotel is like 10 minutes drive from Jetty. The rooms were clean but do not expect modern structure. The hotel has become quite old now and has not been revamped with modern equipment. But, it still offers a pleasant stay. The food is good and they mostly arrange for live music in evenings. Very well planted. On the island, one can only roam through bicycles and the hotel provided you the facility to hire them. Overall, its a good experience.
