Marriott’s popular Residence Inn chain of spacious hotels are usually beloved by traveling families thanks to extra space for kids and adults to spread out during their stay, a big free hot breakfast spread and, usually, an indoor pool plus outdoor sports court. This west Lansing outpost continues that tradition. Situated just off of I-96 to the west of the state capital, downtown Lansing and the Spartans of Michigan State University, and near the zoo, mall and nature center, families will love the classic free Residence Inn hot breakfast, basketball court, and indoor pool while exploring the area. Standard rooms provide two queen beds but families will want to gobble up the massive 760-square-foot two bedroom suites with a pair of kings plus a pull out sleeper sofa, full kitchen, two bathrooms, three HD TVs with Netflix and HBO.

This hotel is pretty good. Spacious rooms, very clean, friendly front desk staff and an overall good place. We washed some laundry while we were there and that seemed a little pricey (4.00 a load) but we would definitely stay here again.

We were spending 3 nights in Lansing and wanted to have a little more space than a room with 2 beds. We lucked out and got a 2 bedroom suite at this Residence Inn, and loved it!! It was like being in your own home. Everything worked well, it was very clean, a tv in 3 rooms, a full kitchen, there wasn't anything more we could have asked for. The breakfast at the hotel was substantial and delicious. The staff were all super friendly and super happy, which seemed like a theme in Lansing! What a wonderful city to visit. Our suite for 3 nights was a little pricey, but well worth the cost for the comfort we reeived.. If we are ever in the area, we will definately be back.
