This 12-room motel located in the heart of Munising doesn’t offer much in the way of extras but if an adorable clean place to rest is your families number one desire then the Munising Motel should suit you fine. Unlike other motels in the area, this one is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown which may make the lack of breakfast bearable for a night. The Wi-Fi and parking are free and second floor rooms have a tendency to be slightly larger so inquire at check-in if space is of the essence for your family.

Very Cozy

Very pleasantly surprised at this motel. One of the neatest, cleanest motels I've ever stayed at. Only drawback is that there was nowhere to hang clothes. Would have preferred one queen bed instead of two for the little extra room. Also, it was a little difficult to adjust the water temp in the shower. It was VERY hot! Desk clerk told me at checkout that they had a new hot water heater.

Great Find

It was my good fortune to stay at the Munising Motel for one night while on a recent road trip. I didn’t know much about it, but it had decent reviews so I took a chance, and I’m glad that I did. This little motel looks like it had a substantial makeover pretty recently, as almost everything looked updated and fresh.

The rooms aren’t large, but they are comfortable, spotless, and nicely decorated. The location is great, as it’s only several blocks from downtown and the boat docks.

While the price ($140 per night) was a bit steep, it was a better value than some of the old and tired places that overcharged for minimal quality. I would happily return.
