This stunning beachfront property has motel in its title but on first blush you will think of something much more refined. There’s a free continental breakfast to start your day with during your stay, a serene common outdoor area with access to a private beach, BBQ grills, and available coolers. Families will want to book one of the Beach Inn’s two queen deluxe rooms with a 32-inch flat screen television, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. First floor rooms come complete with a patio allowing you to walk directly out onto the main beach while second floor rooms include a covered walkway access from which you and your kids can gaze out upon the sun setting on Lake Superior.

Beautiful location

Not a lot of places you can stay in Munising right on the water. We enjoyed sitting on our little patio watching the waves at sunset. They allow dogs and you can stay for just one night which is nice. Don't miss any of the waterfalls that are close to the Motel and of course the Pictured Rocks boat tour is just minutes away.

Older property, well-kept and attractive. Breakfast pretty simple. Quiet setting about a mile from town. No curtains - blinds provided fair privacy. Poor security (no deadbolt or chain on door), but I had the feeling there was not much chance of criminal activity there. No elevator. Sink is in bathroom. Room not furnished well - small table to be shared with the coffee maker and phone. Only two straight-backed chairs. Large beachfront lawn with lawn chairs. No elevator. No shower bar in our room.
