This was our second visit to Sani, but it was many years since our first visit, such a lot of changes and all for the better, the staff here are the best, everyone friendly, helpful
and nothing was ever too much trouble.
The food was great mainly ate in the Poisdon restaurant, where Natalia was always there with a friendly greeting and showed us to our table, where we were looked after by the lovely Kudos, we ate at the Marina a couple of times Macaroni the Italian was lovely as was Psaroyannos the greek restaurant we had Mousakka which tasted fantastic proper greek mousakka, griil by the pool at the hotel another great place to eat,
The Volvo trip as a must, and is free, just book at reception, we were met by the Alex, who took us to places you probably wouldn't see, he was very knowledgeable, and we had a fabulous trip, i won't say much about it because i don't want to spoil it for any one who hasn't been. We also booked the free Day cruise and evening cruise, but were cancelled 3 times because of the weather, but Sani did put an extra one on the day before we left which was really nice of them. we also went into Afitos on the bus from the hotel this cost 10 euros each but well worth it, Afitos is a lovey place nice shops , bars and cafe's you can also walk down to the beach,
The Zephyros bar in the hotel did the best drinks, yet again amazing staff but a special mention to Nantia who looked after us most days and knew what we wanted to drink,
The Garden Theatre put on some fabulous shows very professional, I don't think the drinks here are as good as the Zephyros, i twice had to send mine back, because it was definitely not Barcardi and Coke, at the hotel bar the coke comes separate, at the Theatre bar it comes ready mixed, when i complained they did bring it separate, but for those prices the drinks should be the same where ever you drink, they need to go to the Zephyros bar and see how it's done properly.
we didn't have the best room, Not Sani's fault, we booked a Promo deal with TUI, which was offering a free upgrade to full board, but when we got to Sani Beach Promo deal is you get a room overlooking a brick wall and the generators whirring in the back ground, this might be ok for some people if you don't sit out side, but we do, but there was a power failure twice while we were there so when the generators fired up it was very noisy, the room itself was nice recently refurished,a bit small but adequate, Dimitris tried to find us another room, but the hotel was busy, we could have moved for the last day, but didnt think we would bother for 1 night, Dimitris tried his best for us, he even sent us a bottle of sparkling wine to our room which was very thoughtful of him.
we have booked again for next year,NOT ON A PROMO DEAL, this is the first time ever, we have gone back to he same hotel, but it is a FABULOUS HOTEL with the best staff, See you all again next September

My second time at Sani was even better - and found out that even some of the personnel remembered me . We were able to experience even more restaurants and get some kind attention from Mr.
Thanos Poursalidis - friendly and handy as ever. Definitely going again next year
