I stay at this hotel around a dozen times each year. It is in walking distance to the University of Montana, downtown Missoula, and even several different hiking trails.
The rooms are recently updated and the parking lot has been reconfigured so finding a parking spot is no longer an issue.
Sunday morning there is a farmers market just outside the hotel with hundreds of vendors selling their goods.
I recently had a billing issue. I contacted management and it was fixed IMMEDIATELY.
I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown.

Booked a king size, park view room for a conference. The view out the window was great. However the pictures on the hotel's website do not look anything like the room. For example the picture shows a couch next to the bed. There was no couch, as there is no room for a couch with how small the room is. The picture also shows an updated, modern bathroom. Not sure where they got that picture from, as it didn't look anything like my older room.
I thought when I first went to my room they put me in the wrong room. I called the front desk and they said it was correct. She seemed bothered I even asked.
