Just off Interstate 40 near historic Route 66, the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tucumcari is close to such attractions as the Mesalands Dinosaur Museum, the Tucumcari Historical Museum and Ute Lake State Park. The hotel has 80 guestrooms, including 21 suites, on three floors. All accommodations have a king or double queen beds, a 32-inch flat-screen LCD TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, a coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, and free Wi-Fi. Rollaway beds and connecting rooms are available. The hotel also provides a complimentary full breakfast each morning, and there is an indoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center.

Great stay

This was a quick stay with my family of 4. We had just came off a 2 week "off the grid" stay in the Mountains. The hotel is clean with very friendly staff. My favorite part is that their water pressure in the shower is better than ANY hotel I've ever been to. The kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Oh and of course it had the typical HIE breakfast. It was fully stocked and delicious.

A Nice Place to Stay

We checked in early without a problem.The room was nice, clean and comfy, The TV was top-notch! Only one potential problem - the threshold to the bathroom presented a potential tripping hazard. A standard Holiday Inn breakfast was served- and, as usual, very tasty..
