We have just returned from a second holiday at La Geria, having previously stayed March 2018. Both times we have stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Bedrooms are spacious, modern and comfortable, though we found the air con quite noisy at times. The bathrooms are well equipped and spacious though a little outdated in style. We had a room on the 3rd floor with views of the pool, gardens and beach beyond. The room was serviced daily.Food at the buffet breakfast was very good, lots of choice of hot and cold food. It could get quite busy but staff worked well,quickly clearing and resetting tables and directing guests to available places. Staff are generally pleasant and courteous.The hotel and grounds are well kept and clean. The pool was cold, so we only ventured in a couple of times.The location of the hotel is good, at a quieter end of Puerto del Carmen. We feel this is a good 3 star hotel,we feel it falls short in some finer details for a 4 star. Having said that, we would return.

We have just returned from a 1 week stay at this beautiful hotel. The whole building has a light, airy and spacious feel to it. It is spotlessly clean and the smiling housekeeping and grounds staff work non-stop to keep it so (in both public spaces and bedrooms).

We (a party of 3) stayed in a Junior Suite (Room 258) which was immaculately clean, lovely and spacious with two balconies, the balcony with sun beds had shade free sunshine until around 5pm.

The food was the best I have ever had abroad, with such variety. Breakfast with freshly made smoothies, and made to order omelettes. Lunch/dinner where the majority of fish/meats are show cooked, and varieties of fresh pasta to order. There was a superb selection of salads and choices for vegetarians. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating towards my sons vegan diet and provided some excellent dishes for him. The desserts... well let’s not go there... they were delicious and I believe I product tested most of them (returned home 6lb heavier).

Rita on reception was extremely helpful at arranging a late room for us as we had an evening flight and my disabled son was extremely grateful for that. This room was a standard room, yet was still spacious in comparison to some we’ve stayed in and of course immaculately clean.

We didn’t participate in the daily entertainment but the team seemed very friendly and there was always something going on, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable. The AI service did come to an end at 11.30pm - not a problem for us though. Lots of things included like cocktails, spirits, beer and wine etc., however payment required for named brand drinks etc. But menu clearly states that.

Could go on and on about how lovely this hotel, and the staff are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Already looking at possibly returning in the spring. Our thanks to the team for a wonderful holiday.
