We booked this hotel last minute as a passing through stop. We booked and paid in advance. Check in was slow, although the staff member, was friendly.
We booked a 'suite' which was a huge understatement not to mention false advertising. It is a family room. The room is divided into two rooms. There is one window, the view blocked by trees, a corrugated shed and shipping containers.
The bedroom which reminded me of a sporting 'dug out' had no windows and no door. There were two beds, a wardrobe and side tables in the bedroom. The sofa bed was in the lounge area. I slept on the sofa lounge, waking at 5 am with a sore back. Everyone else were sleeping soundly so the beds must be comfortable.
In the lounge is a small dining table with two chairs, a coffee table and the television unit, with a television, microwave and small square refrigerator. It is a generous sized room with plenty of space for bags.
The two rooms are dark with inadequate lighting and not nearly enough natural light. The colour of the carpet doesn't help, although the carpet does feel new and was comfortable on bare feet. The furnishings are old and outdated and all brown. The AC is so noisy we turned it off before bed. The sofa lounge to sit on was comfortable, the sofa bed incredibly uncomfortable.
Bathroom was simple, the water pressure excellent and shower heat was terrific considering the hotel was fully booked. When our neighbour tuned their music off the hotel was quiet. Room was spotlessly clean.
Breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast with sugar filled products.
We paid a lot of money for this accommodation. Unfortunately, there is no WOW factor. Guests are paying for the location, not the quality of the facilities.

We went on a last minute trip to Wallace & found this hotel. The staff was amazing at finding us a room at a reasonable rate for the holiday weekend. They were very friendly.I ate the ham egg &cheese for breakfast. I have allergies & it was nice to have an option. The room was cozy &clean.
