Very nice location and staff. Especially Craig the camp manager. We only had a short stay but our in room fireplace did not work the entire time. It was only fixed on departure day in preps for next guest. For the price/value of this stay, I would have certainly liked to take advantage of the fireplace in our cabin and would have expected it would be checked before our arrival. One other suggestion for improvement: Label the food items and post the ingredients for those of us that have food allergies. We made it clear we were gluten "and" dairy free before our arrival, but there were no food items already put out that met this criteria. Had to be made while others were already dining. And, simply labeling the food items (like done at the Broadmoor brunch) would be extremely helpful. Thank you! Sonya Cox

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by staying three nights at The Broadmoor Ranch at Emerald Valley. What fun we had - it was like camp for adults. Lots of outdoor activities - hiking, horseback riding, fishing, archery, tetherball (yes, like you played on school playgrounds), kayaking, canoeing, roasting s'mores, cowboy coffee. Each cabin has a front porch to sit and read on, while petting the ranch dog and cat. Beautiful amenities, comfortable beds, and amazing meals - all included (including gratuities) in the lodging fee - pricey, but better than the main Broadmoor as far as all-in cost. So stress-free, we really kicked back and decompressed and disconnected (there are no TV's and WiFi/network connections are spotty). We highly recommend it.
