I should have known by the weekend casual wear of the clerks it wouldn't be good. It was advertised as 2.5 stars I give it 1. The bathroom was clean The room was dusty, bedding dingy, you could see the stains on the mattress pad through the sheets, the was in mattress poor condition and the pillows were throw pillow forms in standard pillow cases. I felt unsafe with some of the weekly renters wandering around. They only accept cash and want $50 security deposit plus $3 service charge for online booking. I put the ironing board in front of the door for added security for the 20 or less minutes I was in the room. I couldn't stay there. I chose to drive 2.5 hours back home after not finding a decent room under $100 in the area. Beware on the sites that don't tell the hotel until after you pay. Luckily I got a refund since it was not as advertised.

Clean and comfortable, though a bit shabby around the edges. Stained ceilings have been repainted but the stains bleed through a bit. Hallways are nicely papered and carpeted, lobby quite nice but elevators are old and unkept, TV's are right out of the '90's.
In other words, not a luxury hotel, but it tries.
The beds were comfortable, the room was well appointed and smelled decent.
Gerald at the front desk was friendly and competent and made us feel quite welcome.
We spent a pleasant night. I would recommend this hotel.
