This seasonal snack shack goes beyond being a classic drive-up with its thick-cut “ho-made” fries, Chicago dogs, great burgers on butter-toasted buns, fresh strawberry rhubarb among its ice cream toppings, and kids’ cones that come doused in sprinkles and a set of candy eyeballs. Some go for the fries alone. They cook up more than 20,000 pounds a summer.
