Went to Staunton for a weekend conference. The price was great. The hotel is conveniently right off the highway and it's away from the traffic which is great. The front desk and cleaning staff were polite and friendly. It is in close proximity to a Walmart, restaurants (Chic-fil-a, Cacker Barrel, etc), Starbucks, and gas stations; and 10 minutes from historic downtown, where our conference was held. The wi-fi was pretty fast. The room and lobby were clean. The only issue is the hotel itself is a tad dated, and we had a "My Cousin Vinny" moment where a train rides by sometime int the middle of the night/early morning, which we were unaware of (only lasts about 2-3 mins). The train riding in the middle of the night is the only reason why I gave it a 3 and not a 4. Other than that, it's a cozy, basic hotel that meets basic needs and they also have complimentary breakfast that we did not use. For the price, I would stay here again if I have to.

We were given the same doggie room at end of hall on first floor we'd had before. Great room, great, full breakfast, quiet night. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Parking area was well lit.
