Located just north of Yachats’ downtown, this family-run oceanfront hotel has a vintage vibe to it with yesteryear décor and whitewashed paneling. Outside the door lies the beautiful Oregon Coast sandy beach. All the rooms have ocean views, back doors that open to a large covered patio, free Wi-Fi, and electric fireplaces. Some rooms have kitchenettes, which are all designed to be vintage, and every room features a mini-fridge and microwave. Several room configurations feature two-bedroom suites with queen beds and a small kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop. The King and Queen Suite is a two-bedroom suite with a king bed, queen bed and small sitting area (no kitchenette). Guests have access to miles of sandy beach, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. Books, games, and puzzles are available to be checked out. In the lobby, families can find fresh fruit, donuts, and coffee and tea each morning. Not far away, there’s the Sea Lion Caves, Oregon Coast Aquarium, and lighthouses.

Sometimes I am a knucklehead and FAIL when I am trying to book hotel rooms! This particular time I booked 2 rooms for the same night in 2 different spots...
The really NICE folks at Deane's let me move my night so I was able to use it later. Great little spot between Waldport and Yachats. Very clean. Great big open back yard right above the beach. Lots of nice dogs were staying. Super great "kitchenette " from the 50's in my room. The staff is so helpful. I will be back!

This is a nice place to stay. It is a little dated but is clean and maintained. Our 6 night stay was perfect. The beach is close and the dog friendly attitude is great. Seems everyone that stayed during out stay had a dog.
Also being a single story property, no banging around upstairs:)
I would say the only way it could have been better is we had stayed longer.
