The Angermeyer Waterfront Inn was carefully constructed out of indigenous lava rocks at the site of Gus Angermeyer’s legendary cave. The cave is now home to the hotel’s lobby and café. The Inn offers double rooms that provide private bathroom, daily housekeeping, television, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and mini refrigerator. The hotel serves lunch and dinner on the waterfront patio. Transportation is provided by water taxis from the hotel’s private pier. Families will enjoy kayaking, hiking the highlands, and visiting Charles Darwin’s research center. Diving and snorkel tours can be booked at the front desk for a chance to explore amazing underwater seascapes.

We loved all hotels we stayed at on our recent trip to the Galapagos. But my husband and I agreed that this was by far our favorite. Located right on the water, the setting and restaurant/bar area are nothing short of idyllic. when we arrived by water taxi, we immediately felt like we stepped into a beautiful, little haven. It has the most welcoming and cozy feel and the service is excellent. Our room surpassed that of any hotel we have ever stayed in and even had a water view. I can't say enough how much we loved this hotel...we will be staying here again if we are ever lucky enough to return to the Galapagos.

Beautiful hotel reached by water taxi with clean comfortable rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to Beach and amazing views over the bay with lots of wildlife. Dinner menu could be more varied and WiFi not very strong like most of the Galapagos. Had a great few nights here.
