Guests at Club Med’s all-inclusive La Plagne 2100 resort can enjoy more than 260 miles of pristine alpine trails. The resort’s contemporary design and welcoming family atmosphere were created by the famed designer, Remy Camoin. Kids can participate in the Learning to Ski and the Pleasures of Snow Course. Upon completion of the course, they will receive a French skiing diploma and Piou-Piou medal. While the children are being introduced to the joys of skiing, their parents can head to the Payot Spa for luxurious beauty treatments and massages. La Morraine and Le Sérac serve a wide array of culinary masterpieces.

A great resort. Probably the best ski in ski out resort with a fantastic terrace overlooking the slopes. Possibly the best lunchtime food available on the terrace in any ClubMed resort we've been to. So good you don't need to go to the restaurant instead you can enjoy the sunshine whilst you eat lunch and have a couple of drinks.

Following a great review and visit to the resort in 2016, we made another trip in 2018.
Dates were Feb 3-10, 2019.
The good:
Snow condition: One weeks before we came, 1 meter of fresh snow!
Snowboard lessons: Must give kudos to Geremy, one of the best instructors I ever had.
Yasin, as knonw as Fistuk. Liroy – cool Israeli guy.
The bad:
Rooms: No ability to change. as gold member, we got the worst possible room, although asked in advance
Ski lessons – kids: we have 2 girls, one in competition and one in Bronze. Apparently there were not enough kids so they bundled up 3! Level of skiers into one group.
Where we came to ask for help, the chef said, "this is not me", we have a contract with ESF…
Reception: We booked private car with the club med and still they refused to accommodate our request of departure time change.. even if we assume risks... They said "this is not me, we have a contract with the transportation"
Food: OK. Nothing home to write about.
Serious on cost cutting: No fun reception for the kids as was done in previous years.
Bottom line. The hotel is old and tired and the chef is similarly, like the hotel, tired and full of excuses as oppose to provide help to issues.
We are going to club med at least once a year. our kids have learned to ski at club med. We can live with low quality hotel but it would be good to avoid the 2018 chef and his crew on future visits.
Tip: Before you head to club med, see who the Chef the Village is and search review on him. This is the key between great and poor experience vacation.
