Overview

The owners of this B&B on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee work hard to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for those who’d like to leave the cares of the city behind. Rooms are adorably appointed with big fluffy beds and lots of cute antiques. One larger room includes a twin bed for families with a small child. Larger families may want to rent two rooms.

Downstairs in a comfy sitting room with a wood fireplace and well-stocked bookcase, and the front porch also has rocking chairs and sitting chairs to while away the afternoon. The owners are very warm and friendly, and guests rave about the delicious three-course hot breakfasts. The inn is located within walking distance of Meredith’s small-town Main Street and Lake Winni, and can serve as a quite home base from which to explore the nearby lakes.

Lovely homely Inn

We had a really comfortable stay at the Tuckernuck Inn which is very well presented and warm and friendly. The Inn is perfectly located for exploring the local lakes and wider New England. The room was well proportioned and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Anne-Marie and Tom were the perfect hosts.

Peaceful and Friendly

Our stay at Tuckernuck Inn was wonderful. Our hosts were very friendly and genuine without being intrusive. They were able to give us helpful information of the area and directions for attractions. We enjoyed breakfast with the other guest who happened to show up for breakfast about the same time. We were able to check in later and out earlier than normal with ease. The room was cozy and very clean. The location was just off the main street which made it close to everything, and yet it was private and quiet. We would love go visit again!
