Overview

A campground, RV park, and motel right across the street from Santa’s Village in northern New Hampshire would make Mr. Claus proud with its singular focus on making children and families feel welcome. The motel rooms all feature two double beds, along with a mini-fridge, microwave, and TV; grills outback are available for guests to use, and there is also a food truck that regularly serves food in the parking lot. The accommodations themselves are adequate if uninspired; what really sets the resort apart, however is the range of creative activities the property sponsors to keep guests entertained.
On any given night, kids can participate in movies, karaoke, hay wagon rides, candy bar bingo, and arts and crafts activities. There are also two pools-one of which serves as site for the popular “glow in the dark pool party” complete with glow sticks and a cannonball competition. When the kids are finally tuckered out from their day at the theme park and night of fun, you can request they be gently shepherded to slumber land by Miss Sleepytime, and employee who makes the rounds on weekend nights to read individual bedtime stories to kids.

We rented a camper for 3 nights. It was clean and fabulous! The campground was short staffed but still did an amazing job keeping up with everything. The landscaping was beautiful, it was quiet at night, and overall just a wonderful experience. We loved being steps away from Santa’s Village too. Can’t wait to go back.

This was our second year camping at the Lantern Resort and Campground. Their customer service is unparalleled. We had a bit of a mixup when booking that caused us to lose our spot we had chosen to be next to our friends. When we checked in, they happily changed it so we could be near them.
I love the curbside trash pickup, the clean bathrooms and laundry, and the pools and hot tub! The food truck is also a nice touch. Everything is incredibly well maintained, and there are plenty of staff to help with whatever needs might arise. We needed a jump on our car because someone left the doors open all night, and they had a jump box ready in a couple minutes. We needed a longer hose for our camper, and they had it available. Our neighbors had a problem with the water pipe leaking on their site and they immediately fixed it.
We really enjoyed our weeklong stay here and would recommend it and will definitely be back to visit!
