Disappointing.

If you don't have a car here, you're out of luck. There is nowhere within walking distance to eat. The bistro here has a pretty good breakfast menu, but no lunch or dinner. There is nothing around the hotel but industrial buildings.
Also, no bathtub, only a shower.
One of the people in our group got bitten by fire ants in her room.
My room was comfortable, the bed was fine, the TV channels were great. Noise from adjacent rooms kept me awake. Every toilet flush could be heard in the next room.
Not a great hotel.

Very Close to Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport

If you need a place to stay, while you're flying out the Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. This is the hotel for you. Or if you need a really nice place to stay that is very clean. Everything is in crisp white linen. The hotel is about 5 - 10 min drive time, depending upon on traffic. The airport is a little ways behind the hotel. If you mention Makers Air, you get a special fly out rate.
The staff is very friendly and efficient in their work. The have a bistro that you can get food, drinks, etc. The hotel also has a workout room.
There are other restaurants close by that the front desk can give you a list of.
